Our Chapter History
The Summit County Chapter was founded in 2013, the second chapter formed in Utah. A group of enthusiastic moms led by a former NCL, Inc. Patroness from another part of the country, joined together to create an expansion chapter to serve Summit and Wasatch County. A large and well-established chapter exists in Salt Lake City, and there was clearly an opportunity to create a chapter close to home.
The Summit County Chapter was considered an expansion chapter until it reached 50 total members in 2016 and became a full-fledged NCL, Inc. chapter.
Mothers and daughters who live in Park City, Heber, Midway, Kamas, Coalville, (Summit and Wasatch Counties) with daughters in 7th through 10th grade, are invited to join through our sponsored membership drive.
We have enjoyed many group-wide philanthropic events with all of our chapter’s mothers and daughters, service projects with individual mother and daughter duos, grade level daughter-only events, social events for the moms only, and NCL Inc.’s traditional, annual, mother-daughter tea.
